Staddon Heights Ph2

3 executive style homes at over 220sqm GIFA each, comprising of steel frame construction, underfloor heating, photovoltaic panels, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems and internal & external glass balustrading.

During the project we accommodated several end purchaser extra’s, further personalising their homes and increasing client satisfaction.

Completed in Q3 of 2023 this scheme completed ahead of programme and well under the agreed target budget.

Weavers Way, Sandford

13 Open Market homes including 3 “First Homes” built over and above building regulations for energy performance. The scheme uses a range of stone, render, timber cladding and metal panelling for façade interest, several plots also feature a parapet style detail with metal copings.

We were asked to take over this project following the termination of the previously appointed firm. Since taking over this project we have stabilised programme, identified the true forecast build costs and detected, then rectified, past quality failures both built within the design that would of incurred the client additional build costs.

Rosemoor, Ipplepen

6 Open Market homes and 2 Affordable Housing homes built to passivhaus energy performance standards. The design & specification of the project also favour healthy building materials both for the occupants and the environment.

The elevations are a mixture of metal cladding, timber cladding, stone and render with each house unique in it’s combination for a truly distinct neighbourhood. The scheme has benefitted from a thorough procurement strategy approach carefully working through construction detail proposals, with the design team, to maximise the use of offsite construction, enhance quality and align the air tightness responsibilities within the right packages at the right build stage.

The outcome is an accelerated and enhanced build process, maximising value for the client. This project is currently ahead of programme for its completion in Q4 of 2023.

Wakeham Farm, South Milton

4 Open Market Homes of traditionally built construction in a lovely scenic area adjacent to recently renovated farm buildings in South Milton near Kingsbridge.

The scheme includes raising a surface water pipe to surface with the plots having “rain gardens” as part of the surface water strategy that then connect into the surface water course. The scheme includes photovoltaic panels and electric vehicle car charging points.

Challenging retaining requirements for the scheme have been addressed by gabion baskets which compliment the surrounding area and give an open feel to the private areas. This project is due for completion in  Q4 of 2024 and we’re currently on track to deliver ahead of programme.

Morchard Bishop, Crediton

19 homes including 13 open market and 6 affordable homes. The homes & boundary walling have a complimenting mixture of stone, brick, metal cladding & render. Two of the plots will have functional chimneys!

The project has challenging topography with a large extent of cut & fill work required to facilitate the project, utility diversions and a large offsite attenuation system.

The scheme started in Q3 of 2024 and is due to complete Q2 of 2026.

Sutton Orchard, Crediton

5 executive style homes at over 250sqm GIFA each, comprising of timber frame construction with metal standing seam roofs, photovoltaic panels and large Juliet balconies.

The project includes dealing with asbestos contaminated soil, piled foundations, sewage treatment plant and contaminated land remediation via a capping layer.

The scheme started in Q1 of 2024 with a contract completion due in Q2 of 2025. Currently the scheme is running ahead of programme and under budget.
